About Us

The Cognition Group is a global company that provides Rater Training, CNS scientific knowledge, technological innovation and project management expertise to the biopharmaceutical industry. We are dedicated to providing solutions that promote clinical research excellence and enhance the administration and collection of data for clinical trials.

Our primary services include customized rater training programs and computerized cognitive assessment. We provide a variety of complimentary services, which include consultancy on cognitive battery design, statistical analysis and report writing.

The company’s corporate headquarters are in Newark, Delaware, with operational offices in London, England, Bydgoszcz, Poland, and New Delhi and Guwahati, India. These active offices provide the necessary local support for global programs, and are ideally positioned to manage studies in Europe and Asia. Founded in the UK in 2001, the worldwide corporate headquarters was established in the US in 2005. The company employs over 100 people globally, with offices in London, India, Poland, and the US.

The Cognition Group’s computerized testing platform is COGTEST ®, a brand which has been widely used in clinical trials and academic research since its inception in 2001.

After four years of experience training in cognition and CNS, we established our Rater Training division. We assembled an international team of trial and learning experts with the goal to raise the standards of investigator training in CNS clinical trials.

More recently, we have broadened our Rater Training services by adding iSignal for iPad. This technology is part of a cost effective and advanced system that allows for greater control of the clinical interview at the site, thereby decreasing the signal-to-noise ratio.
